Testimonials
About Swansea #InTheLoop
“We all have a responsibility to care for the environment, which is why at TfW, we’re embedding sustainable development into the heart of everything we do.
We were excited to get involved in the #InTheLoop campaign from the start, as it was the perfect opportunity to trial cups recycling at Swansea railway station.”
Sophie Duggan, Transport for Wales
About Wimbledon #InTheLoop
“It is great to see the impact that the #IntheLoop trial has had in Wimbledon town centre, where an impressive nine in ten plastic bottles and cans are being disposed of in recycling bins, compared to one in two before the campaign ran.”
Councillor Natasha Irons, Merton Council’s Cabinet Member for Local Environment and Green Spaces
About Telford and Wrekin #InTheLoop
“I’m delighted the council is investing in the park in this way. The bins look great so I’m optimistic that people will make good use of them. It would be terrific to see this campaign increase recycling rates and reduce the borough’s carbon footprint, plus of course we welcome all initiatives that help to keep the park clean and tidy.”
Chris Pettman, Chair of Friends of Telford Town Park
Inspired by #InTheLoop
In addition to the Hubbub led #InTheLoop projects we’ve also seen the expansion or adoption of the #InTheLoop design principles from other projects based on the learnings we’ve shared in impact reports and webinars.
Projects to date:
Mumbles #InThe Loop - an expansion of the Swansea, led by Mumbles Town Council
Scarborough, Whitby and Filey have installed their own #LeedsByExample bins across the sea front.
We’d love to hear about any projects planning on using the toolkit, so please do use the contact us page to keep us #InTheLoop and when you’ve launched we’ll add you to the map!
